Former owner/operator of Jim's Equipment Repair , he was featured on Big Fix Alaska by National Geographic. Jim's "never give up" attitude gets jobs done.
Wes is a 40 year journeyman level diesel mechanic. He is from Oregon but has lived in Alaska 35 years.
Wes is proficient in the latest technology and processes. He is certified in many fields and has magnificent welding /fabrication skills.
We also call him our hydraulic Master. Wes is focused and detailed oriented. Our customers love Wes and so do we.
Vincent is originally from the Philippines. He moved here when he was 14 years old.
Vincent has 7 years of machinery experience. He is proven, competent and reliable. A man of few words and big results.
Katie was born in Soldotna, AK. She moved to Dillingham in 2018.
She is our parts runner, accounting clerk, helper and general go to person when she is not dancing, in school or commercial fishing.
Katie has a natural talent in business. We wont be surprised when she is giving us orders in the future.
Jacob is originally from Naknek, AK.
He graduated from AVTEC in Seward with a Diesel Engine/Heavy Equipment Technology degree in Jan. 2019.
He is a natural in diesels and has a strong work ethic.
Casey lives in Dillingham with his wife and three children.
He is an Army veteran with experience in logistics, sales, transportation, and cargo.
He worked for the State of Alaska in Dillingham and has rural utility experience.
He does sales, coordination, logistics, planning, and many other things for SMI.
Olen Shears "Oly" is 13 years old. He enjoys working for the family business.
He does a lot of shop cleaning and general labor.
He saves his money to buy snowmachines and dirtbikes.
